The purpose of kundalini yoga is to awaken dormant prana, life force energy, that is believed to reside at the base of the spine. This practice is very different from other forms of yoga and incorporates breathing techniques, mudras or hand gestures, and mantras which are considered sacred Sanskrit words or phrases. These aspects are added to seated or reclined postures (some standing poses) which are held for 3 minute increments. Believed to be a practice of introspection, this class, while it may seem unusual at first, will leave you feeling energized and uplifted.
Please let us know if you need to cancel a class last minute so that we can invite someone from the waitlist to take your place. We understand that life happens, not to worry, if you are unable to show up for class, we will remove your booking so that you don't lose a class pass.
