Join Reiki Master, Yoga Teacher, and Sound Healing Practitioner Caitlin and learn all about Reiki, how to practice on oneself and others, and even become certified to practice on clients. This is a great opportunity to dive deeper into the energetics of healing. Reiki (pronounced RAY Key) is a combination of two Japanese words: rei, meaning Universal, and ki, meaning life force energy. It is an ancient technique of hands-on healing that helps to balance the subtle energies of the body. Reiki is a passive form of healing that supports the client in physical, emotional, and energetic ways bringing insight, clarity, and a sense of well-being. It is believed that the human body is a complete energy system in tune with the energy of our surrounding Universe. We can become energetically imbalanced due to physical manifestations of dis-ease as well as emotional and psycho-spiritual disturbances. These imbalances create an obstruction in the flow of energy, a blockage which offsets our holistic homeostasis.
