This 20-hour foundational training is designed to introduce the timeless practices of Yogic Meditation, rooted in the ancient wisdom of the yogic tradition. Blending philosophy, science, and practice, this immersive experience will guide participants through various meditation techniques that cultivate inner stillness, mental clarity, and spiritual awakening. Open to dedicated students seeking to deepen their personal practice and yoga teachers looking to incorporate meditation into their classes, this training provides both a grounded foundation in theory and practical tools for guiding others on the path of meditation. What You Will Learn: The Philosophy & History of Meditation in the Yogic Tradition The Role of Meditation in the Eight Limbs of Yoga (Patanjali's Yoga Sutras) Understanding the Mind: Vrittis, Samskaras, and the Nature of Consciousness Foundational Techniques: Japa Meditation (Mantra Repetition) Pranayama-Based Meditation (Breath Awareness) Trataka (Candle Gazing) Nada Yoga (Sound Meditation) Chakra Meditation Yoga Nidra (Yogic Sleep) Loving-Kindness Meditation (Metta Bhavana) The Science of Meditation: How Meditation Affects the Nervous System & Brain Creating a Personal Meditation Practice (Sadhana) Holding Space for Others: Ethics, Presence & Trauma-Sensitive Guidance Whether you are a dedicated practitioner looking to deepen your personal meditation practice, or a Registered Yoga Teacher looking to expand your knowledge and enrich your teaching, this program is experiential and will guide you to establishing a personal practice as well as tools to effectively teach meditation to others.
