- The Autobiography of a Yogi: Paramahansa Yogananda

- A Brief History of Yoga: Ramesh Bjonnes

- The Truth of Yoga: Daniel Simpson

- Peace Love Yoga: Andrea R. Jain

- The Science of Yoga - The Risks & Rewards: William J. Broad

Who should apply?

It would stand to reason that a strong interest in the practices of yoga would guide someone in the direction of wanting to deepen their understanding. There are no physical prerequisites for this training, although it is ideal if you have some experience in any form of yoga from yin & restorative to hatha & ashtanga flow. We will cover a broad range of poses and examine the teaching styles for a few different styles of yoga, including more gentle and restorative practices.

We take an inclusive approach to yoga, meeting people where they are in various ranges of motion & mobility. We offer cues & modifications, supportive props, suggestions to cultivate body awareness, and verbal guidance to help you navigate the postures safely.

Laughing Yoga

Enrolling in a 200-hour YTT requires dedication, sacrifice, and practice. It is a journey we embark upon while fulfilling the other commitments & responsibilities we have in life and so it is not a decision to be made on a whim. These practices will not only challenge you physically at times, but they require a level of honesty & introspection to dive deep within yourself. This is a journey of the Self, to the Self, through the Self ~ a deeply transformative process. The group comes together in sacred community to hold space for one another as we learn to understand and apply these practices & philosophies to our daily lives. It is an honor for us to share these teachings, we look forward to meeting you!
